As a leading international journal for healthcare regulatory affairs, Regulatory Rapporteur’s mission is to deliver expert and authoritative content to TOPRA members and the wider professional community.

To ensure Regulatory Rapporteur continues to evolve and improve, TOPRA conducted a readership survey earlier this summer to gain feedback to help inform and shape our future plans. One of the many findings was that respondents overwhelmingly indicated their preference for consuming Regulatory Rapporteur’s journal content in a PDF format.

In 2022, publication of Regulatory Rapporteur moved to an online webpage format, offering fully searchable, authoritative articles that sit alongside industry news, interviews and podcasts. As part of that, production in a PDF format was discontinued after the October 2022 issue.

Following the survey feedback however, we are delighted to announce that we are reintroducing PDFs alongside our webpage content, giving readers the option to save, download and print their favourite articles for reading offline. From the October 2025 issue onwards, fully hyperlinked PDFs will be available for each individual article and also as a full Regulatory Rapporteur issue on the regulatoryrapporteur.org website.

Commenting on this new development, Victoria Goff, Editor-in-Chief, said: “We’re really excited to be reintroducing PDFs to Regulatory Rapporteur. Having such a great response to our survey made it clear that PDFs matter greatly to our readers and we are really pleased to be able to deliver our expert regulatory affairs content in a variety of formats that suit individual preferences.

Regulatory Rapporteur is such an important part of TOPRA membership and we look forward to showcasing our brand new PDFs to readers imminently. Our survey gave us many insights into what members would like to see in the future and how we can best serve the regulatory community, so watch this space for further developments to your journal.”

Dr Samantha Atkinson, Chief Executive Officer at TOPRA, also commented: “At TOPRA, we pride ourselves on the service we offer our members, and the reintroduction of PDFs to Regulatory Rapporteur is just one way of showing members that we’re listening to their feedback and implementing improvements accordingly. Our members are at the heart of everything we do and we look forward to introducing further changes to help support their needs throughout the coming months.”
