Abstract

Magda Papadaki is a regulatory entrepreneur and venture builder whose career has taken her far beyond the traditional regulatory path. Starting out as a R&D scientist in cell and gene therapy (CGT) research, she has built an international career spanning biopharma, government policy and investment across the UK, the US and the EU. She was formerly CEO of CoreTech Sciences, a deep-tech spinout, and has recently taken on a new role as Vice President, Global Regulatory Translational Innovation at Flagship Pioneering.

In this interview, Magda shares how she stepped outside the regulatory swim lane to work with investors, biotech ventures and ecosystem leaders, turning high-risk science into investable products and unlocking the next generation of SME growth.
