DARWIN EU’s studies are available in the HMA-EMA Catalogue of real-world data studies and the latest studies can be viewed on this page. The DARWIN catalogue now includes 3,238 studies. These studies address key real-world questions, covering topics related to special populations, medicine safety and effectiveness, disease progression and treatment pathways.

DARWIN EU was established by the European Medicines Agency in 2022 with the aim to ‘deliver real-world evidence from across Europe on diseases, populations and the uses and performance of medicines.’ This real-world evidence can be used to help support clinical trials, post-market surveillance and decision-making processes.

DARWIN EU has become a useful tool for regulatory professionals and is likely to expand in the years ahead as the demand for real-world evidence and data continues to grow.
